The SOAR
Program at Duker School is a positive and proactive way of addressing school-wide behavior. Building-wide, all students are expected to demonstrate Safety, Ownership, Achievement, and Respect in all settings at all times. The
program focuses the bulk of its attention on what appropriate behavior should look like. By consistently acknowledging positive behavior at Duker, we are finding that students demonstrate it more and more
frequently. SOAR also gives our school community a common teaching language to use in situations where inappropriate behavior is being demonstrated.
