McHenry Elementary School District will have registration for the 2007-2008 school year at two separate locations. Your student must be registered in order to attend school in August. Following are the dates and locations for registration:

Registration : At the time of registration, fees, physical/immunization/dental forms and emergency information will be collected. Homeroom assignments will also be given out at this time; bus passes will be mailed in August. Registration fees for the 2007-2008 school year are: $57.50/Kindergarten, $89.75/Grades 1-5, $113.25/Grades 6-8. There will be a fee of $10.00 for band students grades 6-8. There will be a $25.00 fee for 5th grade students participating in the after-school band program.
Sport Fees:The Board of Education has approved the following sports fee program for middle school sports for the 2007-2008 school year. The fees will be: $187.00 for 7th & 8th grade basketball and volleyball and $105.00 for all other sports.
Physical Information: Illinois law requires school physicals for kindergarten and 5th grade students. Illinois requires dental exams for all students entering Kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grades. It’s not too early to make appointments now for your student’s physical and dental exams. Students who do not have the required physicals/immunizations will be excluded from classes. Completed physical and dental forms can be turned in the day of registration.
Day Care/Babysitter:If your child/children will be attending a day-care center or going to a baby-sitter in your school’s attendance area, you will need to call the Transportation Department at (815) 385-6622 before July 14, 2007 to make all of the necessary arrangements.
Detailed information regarding District 15’s registration will be mailed to each family in early August. Registration will be for all students grades kindergarten through 8th grade. We look forward to seeing you in August. Have a relaxing and safe summer. |
