Our K/1's just completed a project about Family Traditions and Customs. Click on the Student Project link in the column on the left to view their pcitures and here them talk about traditions they have with their families throughout the year. These projects are posted in an online program called Voicethread.

Sylvia the Therapy Dog

Each Wednesday, students at Landmark have been getting to know Sylvia, the Therapy Dog.
Sylvia is a retired show dog that visits the McHenry Public Library and Centegra, working as a therapy dog.
At the library, she listens to children read to her, while at Centegra she visits patients, in hope of cheering them up or providing some form of physical therapy.
