Summer Intersession

This is a wonderful time of year to reflect on our year, a year full of learning opportunities, community outreach and accomplishments! For the fourth year in a row, Landmark School was named a School of Academic Excellence by the Illinois State Board of Education. Our entire learning community worked together to foster the knowledge, proficiencies and thinking skills necessary for our students to achieve this distinction! Congratulations, Landmark!

As our learning community has continued to learn and grow together, we have continued to change to meet the needs of our students. Teachers, staff and parents worked together to write a school mission and vision statement to better identify who we are as a learning community and who we'd like to be in the future. These statements will guide our learning goals and paths in the months and years ahead. I am very proud of the work our community has accomplished this year!

As the temperatures heat up and the days get longer, Landmark School is ready to enjoy a six-week intersession in June and July. This year's intersession will be June 8^th – July 20^th. I hope all of our families enjoy these weeks of family activities, vacations and relaxation! I'm looking forward to seeing you again in July!
