Welcome to McHenry Elementary School District 15! Our district serves approximately 5,000 students in grades PreK-8th grade. We are proud of the quality of education we offer the children and community of McHenry. Furthermore, our most recent annual survey indicates that 96% of parents and school staff are pleased with the quality of education District 15 provides.

Although state funding for education continues to decrease all over the State of Illinois, District 15 has continued to remain financially stable through conservative spending and cost-saving measures. In fact, our district has received the highest rating for school finances four years in a row while improving the quality of education for all of our students.
