School bus routes and stops are determined by the Transportation Department on the basis of safety, efficiency and student ridership.

Bus routes, stops or times may be altered slightly by Transportation Department, if the ridership changes during the school year.

As bus stop times are a general guide, students are expected to be at their bus stop five minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Heavy traffic or inclement weather can prevent drivers from maintaining the scheduled stop times. Students are encouraged to wait until the bus arrives.

Route numbers are displayed in the side window of the bus. Students should identify their bus by the route number not the bus number.

Due to safety reasons students are not allowed to vary their pickup or drop-off stops. A student’s pickup stop must be the same five days a week within the student’s school boundary. Also a student’s drop-off stop must be the same five days a week within the student’s school boundary.

Pick up and drop off bus stop locations must be at the home location or at a daycare provider. Transportation is not provided to any outside school activities.
