McHenry School District 15 uses Nixle to communicate to the public about school closings, weather emergencies, and important safety information. It is also used by the McHenry Police Department and many other local school districts and law enforcement agencies.
Parents, staff, and community members can sign up at www.nixle.com. We also have a link to Nixle on our district website. Navigate to the District 15 webpage, click on the Parents tab, then click on Emergency Closings.
Once a person creates a login, they can sign up to receive text messages, e-mail messages, or both. You can also choose to receive alerts from other organizations in the area. Standard message rates will apply to any text messages received.
