Great news! Camp Invention is returning to McHenry this summer. Do your kids love going to the Innovation Center? Give them an opportunity to invent the future today at this summer’s Camp Invention!
McHenry School District #15 is again partnering with the National Inventors Hall of Fame to provide Camp Invention, a unique elementary summer enrichment experience with a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) focus for children in our community, June 10-14, 2019 at McHenry Middle School.
Camp Invention allows children entering grades K-6 to experience real-world problem solving, creative thinking, invention, and teamwork. Local, certified educators lead a week of hands-on activities that fuel children’s confidence in their natural ability to dream and create. The Supercharged curriculum features designing high-tech superhero gadgets, uncovering ancient fossils, creative problem-solving skills while coding and programming futuristic robots, exploring radio frequencies and more! We know your children can’t wait for a week of hands-on, STEM activities that allow you to think big, explore, be curious and never give up!
