The District will:- Finance future building additions by deferring bonds
- Conduct an enrollment growth study (Kasarda)
- Conduct a transportation study/risk management
- Pursue funding a police resource officer for the middle schools
- Conduct an energy study in all facilities
- Review and update job descriptions for efficiency
- Address capacity issues through building additions
- Provide five year long-term financial projections
- Monitor enrollment trends and projections
- Develop district-wide facilities expansion plan
- Expand storage facilities capacity
- Investigate future student information management system options
- Provide in-house support services vs. contracting/outsourcing
Goal #2: The District will provide rigorous research-based curriculum, instructional best practices and innovative materials for all students.
The District will:- Analyze/study technology curriculum K-8 and address staffing additions
- Analyze bilingual program/staffing and make recommendation
- Consider offering extended At-Risk kindergarten as part of district-wide staffing process
- Convene middle school scheduling task force to solicit input relating to exploratories and schedule resulting in staffing additions
- Convene Response to Intervention (RTI)/ K-8 reading/language arts district wide committee to guide implementation
- As part of an overall district-wide expansion plan facilities will study feasibility of expanding year-round education
- Review needs for updated curricular materials (i.e., textbooks) curriculum development, and staff development and make recommendations for adoption
- Expand opportunities for algebra in middle schools​
- Consider implementation of full day kindergarten
- Consider providing support for gifted programming
- Provide staff development for reading adoption
- Convene committee to study K-8 mathematics program
- Implement self-contained transitional bilingual program
- Expand use of technological equipment /innovations in classrooms

- Provide staff support to enhance all school building web sites
- Publish and disseminate a community-wide school district annual report document
- Communicate with parents by providing technology link to student grades, progress reporting, attendance
- Implement Senior Exchange program
- Hold School Board Public Forums
- Conduct staff/parent surveys
- Consider utilizing various social media to enhance communication
