Landmark Elementary School is a public school and a part of District 15. While we are located near downtown, we accept students from the entire District 15 area, so we are considered a school-of-choice.
Some notable features that make our school unique include:
a continuous year school calendar that begins in July and includes more frequent and longer vacations.
a classroom format where students stay with the same teacher for two years to foster deeper teacher/student/family relationships
an active supportive parent-teacher group called the LCO
a lottery system to fill openings in our classrooms
