The 2019/20 school year marks Landmark's 19th year as a school-of-choice in McHenry District 15!  We are excited to see our returning families and to welcome our brand new families as well!  We are looking forward to another wonderful school year, a year that will be filled with active learning, community building, fun activities and opportunities to reach out and help our community.

I am honored and excited to be back as my tenth year as your principal! Landmark is a truly amazing community of learners! In my 28 years in education, I have never worked with a more dedicated exceptional group of teachers nor with a more supportive parent community!

For those who are new to our school, Landmark is a multi-age classroom school of choice in District 15. Our integrated curriculum is taught in a two-year cycle in our 2nd-5th grades.. In the 2019/20 school year,  our Science and Social Studies focus  will be Curriculum 2, as found on our website. Our continuous learning calendar can also be found on our website.

This year, Landmark joins the district in offering a full day kindergarten experience. In doing so, we have separated our Kindergarten and First grade students so that our youngest students receive a full day experience dedicated to their specific unique academic and social/emotional needs. Our 2/3 and 4/5 classrooms continue to be multi-grade, providing amazing opportunities four our students to learn and grow on a continuous basis at their own level. Our teachers are experts in using interactive technology that brings learning alive in our classrooms. Our STEM curriculum and materials continue to expand to provide our students numerous opportunities to explore and problem-solve in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math while also enhancing literacy skills.

Please follow our school's Facebook page, LMDolphins, and check the website regularly so that you can join us for the many activities and events here at Landmark!

We are currently have openings in first-fifth grades. Please call the school office at (779) 244-1800 for more information!
