The 2018/19 school year marks Landmark's 18th year as a school-of-choice in McHenry District 15!  We are excited to see our returning families and to welcome our brand new families as well!  We are looking forward to another wonderful school year, a year that will be filled with active learning, community building, fun activites and opportunities to reach out and help our community.

For those who are new to our school, Landmark is a multi-age classroom school of choice in District 15. Our integrated curriculum is taught in a two-year cycle. In the 2018/19 school year,  our Science and Social Studies focus will be Curriculum 2, as found on our website. Our continuous learning calendar can also be found on our website.

I am honored and excited to be back as my ninth year as your principal! Landmark is a truly amazing community of learners! In my 27 years in education, I have never worked with a more dedicated exceptional group of teachers nor with a more supportive parent community!

We are excited to have brand new Chromebooks for each student this year! Our teachers also have new computers and interactive technology that brings learning alive in our classrooms. Our STEM curriculum and materials continue to expand to provide our students numerous opportunities to explore and problem-solve in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math while also enhancing literacy skills.

Please follow our school's Facebook page, LMDolphins, and check the website regularly so that you can join us for the many activities and events here at Landmark!

We are currently taking registrations from new families for our anticipated openings for the 2019/20 school year. As of early April, we have an opening in first grade as well as several openings in third, fourth and fifth grades. Please call the school office at 815-385-8120 for more information!
