Friends' Super Spring Used Book Sale

Come get some great bargains in books, movies, music and more!
Dates: Saturday & Sunday, May 20 & 21 during library hours.
On Sunday, May 21, fill a bag of books for just $5!
Stop by the library's Checkout Desk to pick up a coupon worth $1 off a $6 purchase at the Saturday sale. The sale will be held in the library's warehouse. Use the north parking lot and enter towards the rear of the building.
There is a $10 fee to bring in a scanner to any book sales, including the preview. Special Preview Sale for Friends Members (a/o April 31, 2017): Thursday, May 18, 6-8 p.m.

Booster & Safety Seat Installation and Check

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Drop by our parking lot where members of the McHenry Police Department will be on hand to help anyone properly install car seats in cars, check any currently installed seats and answer any questions regarding which safety seat is best for your child or grandchild.

We Need Teen "Book Buddies" This Summer!

Training: Wednesday, May 31,
5:30-7:30 p.m.
Is your teen looking for something to do this summer? Ask them to consider being a "Book Buddy." They can help a child read better and make a little friend at the same time. Contact Youth Services for an application.
