Mason Amici

My name is Mason Amici and I am the physical education teacher at Hilltop. I have worked in District 15 since 2011 and started teaching at Hilltop in 2017. I grew up a D15 student and love working in my hometown community! I graduated from Northern Illinois University with my bachelors of education in 2010 with a SPED endorsement. Teaching physical education has been a dream true for me and sharing my passion with our students!

Dawn Bertolotto-McKay

My name is Dawn McKay and I am the art teacher at Hilltop School.  I began teaching art at Hilltop in 1994.  I have a Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University in Art Education. I also have a Master's degree from North Park University in Teacher Leadership.  I live in McHenry with my husband and 2 sons.  I love teaching children to enjoy learning about art, whether it is creating it or looking at it!

Julia Mick

My name is Julia Mick and I am the music teacher at Hilltop school. I have been teaching since 2004. I graduated with a Music Bachelors degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and I have a Masters degree from Aurora University. I live in Woodstock with my husband and my daughter, Torunn. For fun, I enjoy reading, playing board games with my family and gardening. I love teaching the students musical skills and a lifelong appreciation for music.

Sean Cerney

My name is Sean Cerney and I teach Innovative Learning. We learn by doing in the Hilltop Innovation Center. Brenda Poisson

My name is Mrs. Poisson, and I am the school librarian at Hilltop School.  I have worked in District 15 since 2001.  I love teaching in the library and helping children to discover the wonder of books.  In my spare time, I like to be outdoors hiking, bicycling, and gardening.
