Mason Amici
My name is Mason Amici and I am the physical education teacher at Hilltop. I have worked in District 15 since 2011 and started teaching at Hilltop in 2017. I grew up a D15 student and love working in my hometown community! I graduated from Northern Illinois University with my bachelors of education in 2010 with a SPED endorsement. Teaching physical education has been a dream true for me and sharing my passion with our students!

Dawn Bertolotto-McKay
My name is Dawn McKay and I am the art teacher at Hilltop School. I began teaching art at Hilltop in 1994. I have a Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University in Art Education. I also have a Master's degree from North Park University in Teacher Leadership. I live in McHenry with my husband and 2 sons. I love teaching children to enjoy learning about art, whether it is creating it or looking at it!

Denise Wasik
My name is Denise Wasik and I have been the library assistant since 2019. Prior to that, I had
been volunteering at Hilltop library since my son was in kindergarten back in 2011. I am married
and have one son who is a senior in high school. We have a Beagle dog named Sammy who is
very spoiled. I love working in the library and watching the kids grow and become readers!

Sam Sostaric
Hello! My name is Mrs. Sostaric and I am the Innovation Coach here at Hilltop! In 2014, I started my teaching career in Georgia before moving to McHenry in 2017. I have been at Hilltop ever since and I absolutely love it here! I started here in 2nd grade and then taught 1st grade. Now I am thrilled to be working in the Innovation Center! Hilltop is the best!

Cathy Williams
My name is Cathy Williams and I began teaching at Hilltop in 2005. I taught third grade for 3 years and second grade for 17 years. I am now the Balanced Wellness Advisor Teacher. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Northern Illinois University, my Master's Degree and a Special Education Endorsement from Saint Xavier University. I live in Johnsburg with my husband Nathan, our children, Ethan and Elaina, and our dog Winni. In my free time, I like to be outdoors working in my yard, hiking, and reading mystery novels on my back deck. I feel very fortunate to be able to go to work every day and LOVE what I do! Being an educator is the BEST!
