Miss Carbajal

This is my sixth year at Duker as the 4th grade Bilingual teacher. I received my undergraduate from Northeastern Illinois University and my Masters from North Park University. Becoming a teacher has been the best decision made thus far in my life. I get to share a treasure with my students that many people do not have – two worlds of languages and cultures. When I am not at school, my life revolves around my daughter, family, and friends.

Mrs. Waxler

Hello Duker families!  My name is Mrs. Waxler and I am an English Language Development teacher.  Duker has been my home since 2013.  Fourth and fifth grades are some of my favorites but I have worked with all grades from kindergarten through eighth.  In my free time, I am spending time with my husband and two active boys.  Watching my boys play sports, traveling, reading and baking are some of my hobbies.

Mrs. Willemarck

Hello Duker Families!  I am Carrie Willemarck.  I am one of the ELD teachers here at Duker.  This is my 27th year teaching and my 5th working with language learners.   I have been married for 25 years.  We have two boys. My oldest is 23 and is a staff accountant in Chicago.  My youngest is 19 and is a full time student at McHenry County College.  In my free time I love to take walks in the state parks, read books and I love to cook with my husband.   I am looking forward to another great year at Duker!
