Hi, my name is Angela Rogers, and I'm one of the Reading Specialists. This is my 7th year at Duker and my 16th year teaching. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Elmhurst University and a Master's degree in Reading & Literacy from Benedictine University. I have one son and we live in Mchenry. We spend a lot of time on the football and soccer fields. I love reading and am looking forward to another great year!

Hello, my name is Joy Eichmann. I have been teaching in McHenry since 2008. I spent the first five years teaching Kindergarten at Valley View Elementary and am now a Reading Specialist. I really enjoy teaching reading to the 4th and 5th graders at Duker! I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. I have also earned a Master’s Degree in Reading from Concordia University, and an ESL endorsement from Olivet University. I live in McHenry with my husband. This is our hometown and we love living here. We have 3 adult daughters, 3 grandsons, and 2 granddaughters. In my free time I love reading, traveling, and spending time with my family.

Duker School has been my home for the 16 years that I have been teaching. For my first seven years, I was a looping teacher and am now the Learning Center Director. I love the Duker Library! It combines my two favorite things - Teaching and Books! My bachelor's degree is from Western Illinois University and my Master's degree is from Aurora University.
My husband and I were both raised in McHenry. We have been married for 17 years and have two wonderful children. In my spare time, I love to read, workout, watch sports (especially the Blackhawks), and spend time with family and friends!

Hello! My name is Ms. Chally, and I am a recent graduate of Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. While at BenU, I was active on campus, including performing in the concert, jazz, and athletic bands. I also served as a founding member of the Benedictine University Wind Ensemble, the BenUkes (a student ukulele group), and the Benedictine Drumline. My primary instrument is the bass clarinet!
Outside school, I regularly perform in the Crystal Lake Community Band, serve on the marching band staff at my old high school, and teach private lessons! Beyond music, I try to live a very active life and enjoy swimming, running, and cycling.
As an educator, I am passionate about helping students foster meaningful music experiences and making music accessible for all.

My name is Sean Cerney and I teach Innovative Learning. We learn by doing in the Duker Innovation Center. Students will explore all things STEM when they come to the Innovation Center each week. I live in Antioch with my family. I have four daughters who keep me very busy when I'm not teaching in the IC. I look forward to an exciting year in the IC this year!

Hi, my name is Melany Crenshaw and I am the current art teacher at Duker and Landmark schools. I am a graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art and Education. My teaching career began in central Texas where I taught art at Ralph Pfluger Elementary. I moved to Schaumburg, Illinois in 2017 where I currently live with my family.
For fun, I enjoy making all types of art but my favorite is sculpting with clay and painting with watercolor. I also enjoy playing my Ukulele and being outdoors with my family and 3 dogs. My role as an Art Teacher is to create a learning environment that is safe for exploring and encouraging risks. I will help students develop skills in art production, criticism, history, and aesthetics. My success as an educator is measured by the ability to maintain a classroom that addresses the needs of all learners while building relationships with students, educators, parents, and community members

Hello! My name is Kayla Ross, and I am one of District 15's new speech-language pathologists this year! I received my undergraduate degree from Illinois State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a Children’s Studies minor. I recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I will be splitting my time between Duker and Edgebrook Elementary Schools. I am thrilled to be working in the district this year!
I currently live in Libertyville, Illinois. When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with family and friends. I also love spending time outside and watching movies. I am looking forward to a great school year!
