Parkland School is proud to offer a wide variety of extra-curricular athletic activities for our students. These activities include a city league program for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students, in addition to our Fox Valley Middle School Conference (FVC) sports. Three of the conference sports also compete at the IESA state level. The conference sports are offered on a pay to play basis. An athletic permission form is required to be completed through Parent Access on Skyward, in order to participate in city league and FVC each year. This was included as part of the registration process this year. Only one permission form is required per student for the entire school year. Any student participating in a FVC sport must have a current physical form on file in the nurse’s office prior to the first day of tryouts. To be eligible to participate in any athletic program, students must be passing all of their classes. If you have any questions, please contact the athletic directors- Blaine McGary (bmcgary@d15.org) and/or Christina Conklin (cconklin@d15.org)
