    City League

Our city league basketball program includes 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.  Our goal is to offer a program that will allow more game time, the opportunity to work on basic skills, and the opportunity for increased wellness and fun.

The program is open to any 6th grade girl and any 7th or 8th grade girl that is not on our Fox Valley Conference team (tryout team).  There will be no fee for the program but students are required to have a 2018-2019 Athletic Permission Form completed on Skyward through Parent Access by January 22.

Students are expected to be at all practices and games so that team unity is consistent.  Students will be divided into teams during the first week of practices.  Students will be asked to purchase a t-shirt to be worn at games.

The coaches for the 2018-2019 season are Mrs. Hartl and Mrs. Valen. More information will be provided to students at the first practice.

  • 7th and 8th Grade Girls Conference Basketball

Girls must tryout for the 7th and 8th grade teams.  Basketball tryout dates at the end of December, or beginning of January. Dates will be given closer to that time. Girls interested in trying out are expected at all tryout dates.    Members of the team are expected to attend practice every day after school and on Saturday mornings.    The coaches strive to allow all participants to have the opportunity to improve their skills and participate in games.  During the season the teams compete against all the schools in the Fox Valley Conference.  More non conference games may be added to the schedule.  On game days there will be two games played at each grade level against the opposing school.  Both the 7th and 8th grade teams participate in Fox Valley Conference tournaments at the end of the season. The conference coaches for the 2018-2019 season are Melynda Virgil-Maurer and Tami Donahue.
