Teacher Certification

    • Certified Staff must have specialized credentials and/or licensing to perform their duties, such as teachers, clinical support and administration (McHenry District 15 is a member of a county-wide consortium, therefore your application may be screened by other member districts).
    • Classified Staff are generally not required to have specialized credentials. Classified staff support instruction, such as custodians, cafeteria workers, playground supervisors, secretaries/office support and transportation. Depending on the assignment, teacher assistants (paraprofessionals) are required to have a valid paraprofessional license or 30-60 hours of college coursework.
