Acceleration

McHenry District 15 provides an acceleration process for students who are academically advanced and demonstrate skills at levels well above their grade level in accordance with the Illinois Acceleration Act. Acceleration options include subject level acceleration, full grade skipping, early entrance to kindergarten and early entrance to first grade. Acceleration is available for those students who meet the qualifications for accelerated placement. Applications for acceleration are taken through April 15th for the next academic school year. To request acceleration, please email learningservices@d15.org.
